Dear Faculty, Staff, and School Community,
As we enter the 2026/2027 school year, I would like to introduce myself as one of
your School Resource Officers (SRO) with the Comal County Sheriff's Office.
I was sworn to service with the Comal County Sheriffs Office 3 years ago. My
entire career with the Sheriffs Office has been serving the people of Comal County
with the Community Resource Team. In August of 2023 I retired from the United
States Army after serving over 20 years. My tenure with the US Army consisted of
duties as a Military Policeman, Personal Security Team Leader and combat tours to
Iraq and Afghanistan. Upon retiring I wished to transition into a career I could still
obtain the sense of serving others and providing protection and security of the rights
we are endowed with in this great Nation. I was hired on to the Sheriff's Office
directly as School Resource Officer and this will mark my 4th school year providing
said protection and security to students, staff and parents of this great community. I
have served as the SRO for Freiheit Elementary School, Smithson Valley High
School and Canyon Lake High School. I currently hold an Intermediate Peace
Officer License.
I am excited to continue to serve and protect as a Deputy of the Comal County
Sheriffs Office, the Community Resource Team, and as a School Resource Officer
for Comal Independent School District.
